Product DevelopmentMixology
Creating a beverage product requires much more than just a good recipe. It means understanding flavour, service, the consumer and the market in which that product will be sold.
Cocktail in the World supports brands and entrepreneurs in the research and development of new beverage products, combining technical expertise with experience gained on a daily basis through direct contact with bartenders, hospitality professionals and consumers.
From market to the bottle
A successful beverage product has to make sense in more than one environment. It has to work in the bottle. It has to work behind the bar. And ultimately, it has to work for the person drinking it. Cocktail in the World combines technical beverage experience with decades of direct contact with hospitality professionals, events and consumers to support the development of new beverage products.
Our approach
Our advantage comes from working directly inside the beverage world. Through Cocktail in the World's events and our hospitality experience, we remain close to real drinking occasions and changing consumer tastes. That gives us the ability to approach product development not only from a technical perspective, but from a practical one: How will it be served? Who will drink it? Where will they drink it? How will a bartender use it? What place can it occupy in today's market?
Concept & Development
A new product begins with an idea. We work with brands and entrepreneurs to help transform that idea into a defined beverage concept. This can include: product positioning, flavour direction, consumption occasion, target consumer, serving suggestions and cocktail applications.
Ancienne Pharmacie
The experience we have gained in the world of product development has also led to the creation of Ancienne Pharmacie, a range that combines the pursuit of flavour, mixology, tradition and contemporary drinking culture. This project represents a fundamental aspect for us: we do not merely advise other brands on product creation; we know first-hand what it means to create a product ourselves.
