SECOND EDITION AT STAZIONE LEOPOLDA IN FLORENCE
From November 27 to 28, 2016, the second edition of Food and Wine in Progress will take place at the historic Stazione Leopolda in Florence, one of the most important Italian events dedicated to the world of food and wine excellence.
The event is promoted by the Unione Regionale Cuochi Toscani (URCT), the Associazione Italiana Sommelier Toscana (AIS), and Cocktail in the World. For this new edition, important new partners will also join the initiative, including Confcommercio Toscana and Coldiretti Toscana, strengthening the network of excellence representing the region.
The aim of the event is to showcase the very best of Tuscan excellence, bringing together producers who will present agricultural production, wine, food products, innovation, and quality. Visitors—expected to be around 5,000 over the two days—will have the opportunity to meet hundreds of chefs, more than 130 wineries, and numerous companies from the food and beverage sector.
Throughout the two-day event, there will also be a rich program of side events, including promotional activities dedicated to Tuscan producers and excellences, along with exhibitors from the hospitality industry. Special focus will be given to niche products, including natural, organic, and gluten-free specialties.
Food and Wine in Progress confirms itself as a highly relevant event in the food & beverage industry, offering a unique opportunity to explore taste, tradition, and innovation in one of the most prestigious venues in Florence.
